What an absolute pleasure it was staying two nights at your resort. You have to phone in your reservation for this rate - it is not available on their website.
Our rate was $119 a night, using an AARP discount - or maybe it was AAA. I would like to return for a two day getaway, and use the pool, spa, and gym. They charge no tax on your room, or resort fee. There is no charge for parking, including valet. Breakfast at the Pala Cafe was a good value and good food. We checked out and then stayed for the buffet restaurant for $16 each. Join the Players Club (free) and you will get a 20% discount on meals. In fact it is so deep that I was floating an inch from the bottom! There is a separate toilet room. The TV was 40', and the view of the mountains was nice from our 10th floor room. Our room, with a king size bed, was large and 4-star. I would recommend this resort as a two day getaway for residents of Riverside and San Diego County. It is not well lit, but the signs and lighted road line are very good. It is a 22 minute drive, though the road from there to Pala is quite windy. We were at a wedding in The Grand Traditions, Fallbrook, CA.
We just checked out today, after spending a night.
